At NIRA, sustainability is part of both our business offering and the way we run our operations. We want our technology, decisions and ways of working to support more efficient use of resources, lower environmental impact and responsible long-term development.
Our approach
We are building our environmental work in a structured way through our Environmental Compliance Management System (ECMS). This means that we work systematically with environmental aspects, legal and other compliance obligations, objectives, follow-up and continual improvement.
Our environmental management work is being developed in line with ISO 14001 principles as part of NIRA's long-term direction.

In our own operations, we focus on the environmental areas most relevant to NIRA.

Governance and continual improvement
NIRA's environmental work is governed through internal policies, defined responsibilities and regular management follow-up. We review relevant environmental requirements, monitor objectives and work continuously to improve our controls and performance.
Our environmental policy and supporting procedures are part of this work, together with training, communication and documented follow-up.
